Keep It Cool To Keep It Smooth

HOW TO KEEP YOUR BUTTA SMOOTH WHEN IT MELTS....

In warmer weather high-quality organic oils melt at 76 degrees.  Refrigerate until it's solid again and bring to room temperature before using so the Butta scoops out smoothly.

Why does my Butta get grainy?

Shea butter comprises diverse fatty acids, each with distinct melting points. When exposed to heat, such as warmer weather, and cooled down slowly, these fats solidify at varying rates, resulting in a grainy texture. It's important to note that graininess doesn't indicate that your Shea butter has gone bad.

In fact, it offers an added benefit as a gentle exfoliator for your skin. The grainy particles dissolve seamlessly as you massage the Butta into your skin, providing a nourishing and cleansing experience.

Re-Melting and cooling: If you prefer the smoother texture simply remelt and cool in the fridge or even faster in a freezer.

Organic and preservative-free products may require a little extra care, but the results are well worth it for your overall well-being and clean beauty routine.
